PJSC “KAMAZ” was visited by a delegation from the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Tatarstan on a working visit.
The delegation includes Marat Gafarov, Deputy Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Tatarstan, and Olga Titova, Head of the Department for Youth and Sports Affairs of the FPT. The main purpose of the visit is to familiarize themselves with the mentorship system built at AutoGigant, as well as to evaluate practices for supporting young specialists.
Guests visited the automobile factory, where they took part in the opening ceremony of the regional qualifying stage of the X Absolute Championship of the GK “Roste” in the power strike “Strike Ten”. The symbolic first strike on the strength-measuring simulator was delivered by Marat Gafarov and the deputy chairman of the trade union of PAO “KAMAZ” OPP Vladislav Gavrilov. Then a round table was held with the participation of the trade union activists and the management of the personnel department. The meeting was moderated by the chairman of the trade union of the automobile factory and the bridge factory, Larisa Denisova.
The parties discussed key issues related to working with youth: training programs, social support measures, as well as mechanisms for transferring experience from mentors to new specialists. Special attention was given to labor dynasties. Representatives of the preventive activities described the online book about labor dynasties “KAMAZ”: it contains unique stories about several generations of KAMAZ workers. No less important was the topic of housing issues. The participants thoroughly discussed the rental housing program—one of the most effective measures to support young specialists at the enterprise.
The meeting concluded with an exchange of views, and the representatives of the FPT noted a high level of social partnership at the automaker.
