Islamabad, June 24 /Xin Hua/ — Negotiations at the technical level between Iran and the United States will resume next Tuesday after a break, an official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, Taier Andrabi, said on Wednesday.

Speaking at the weekly briefing, T. Andrrabi stated that in the coming weeks Pakistan and Qatar will continue to cooperate with technical teams from the United States and Iran to ensure the effective implementation of the memorandum of understanding /MOD/.

According to him, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the first session of the American-Iranian talks in Switzerland strengthened faith in dialogue and diplomacy as the most effective means of peacefully resolving disputes and conflicts.

He welcomed the positive recognition and favorable reviews from various countries and international partners regarding Pakistan’s constructive role in promoting regional peace, dialogue, and de-escalation efforts.

T. Andrub also expressed Pakistan’s gratitude to all countries and partners who supported its mediation efforts.
