A year ago, she arrived at the China-Kazakh international border cooperation center “Khorgos” to explore new business opportunities and began working as a streamer within the framework of cross-border e-commerce.
The city of Khorgos is an important border gateway connecting Xinjiang with the countries of Central Asia. In terms of foreign trade volume and total transportation volume, it has long held the first place among Xinjiang’s border ports. According to data from the Khorgos Municipal Commerce Administration, in recent years the number of enterprises registered here in the field of cross-border e-commerce and cross-border e-commerce streaming groups between China and Kazakhstan has shown a growth trend, while new forms of cross-border trade continue to gain turnover.

Packages that will subsequently be delivered by Kazakhstani logistics companies are placed outside her workspace. According to Kazakhstani, after the deal is concluded, goods in online mode can be immediately packed and shipped. They will be delivered to customers within three days.
In her opinion, the key advantage of online broadcasts is the possibility for businesses to demonstrate high-quality products remotely, which provides entrepreneurs with an additional sales channel without the need for physical presence. In less than a year of working in Khorgos, the volume of transactions through a single live broadcast within the framework of cross-border e-commerce, driven by A. Magzin, has already exceeded 98 thousand yuan.
According to statistics from the Khorgos Customs, in the first quarter of 2026 the actual volume of import and export cargo transportation carried out under the supervision and control of the Khorgos EPC amounted to 10.329 million tons, which is 4.2 percent more compared to the same period last year, setting a new historical maximum.
According to A. Magzina, not being proficient in Chinese is a serious obstacle to entrepreneurial activity. In this regard, all three of her children are currently studying Chinese.
