Yaoundé, June 20 /Xin Hua/ — The President of Equatorial Guinea, Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, on Friday signed a decree reappointing Manuel Osa Nsue Nsua as Prime Minister, three days after the resignation of the previous one.

On Tuesday, Vice President Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue announced that M. Osa Nsue Nsua and the entire cabinet of ministers had resigned, having achieved “almost 10 percent” of the set goals.

Reappointment will allow the formation of a new Cabinet.

According to the decree published on Wednesday, the new government will consist of fewer ministries.

M. Osa Nsue Nsua was appointed prime minister for the first time in August 2024. –0–
