More than 700 million rubles will be additionally allocated from the federal budget for the completion of the construction of the infectious disease building of the Ulyanovsk Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital named after Yu.F. Goryachev. Such an order was signed by the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Mishustin.

“We expect that this will help complete the construction and equipping with medical equipment already this year, so that we can start admitting children for treatment as soon as possible,” said Mikhail Mishustin onmeeting with the deputy prime ministers on April 6.

Ulyanovsk Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital is a large and significant institution for the residents of the region, where qualified specialized medical care is provided to children. Mikhail Mishustin visited it in 2021 as part ofbusiness trip to Ulyanovsk Oblast. In the following years, more than 2 billion rubles were allocated from the federal budget for the construction of the hospital’s infectious disease building, including 300 million rubles in December 2025.
