Manila, June 14 /Xin Hua/ — At least 61 people died, 40 went missing, and 1403 were injured as a result of a magnitude 7.8 earthquake that occurred on June 8 near the southern coast of the Philippine island of Mindanao. This was reported on Sunday by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council.
