Beijing, June 13 /Xin Hua/ — China is extremely dissatisfied with the decision of the US Department of Defense to include certain Chinese enterprises in the list of “military companies” and firmly opposes this, the Ministry of Commerce of China said on Saturday.
The American side ignored the consensus reached in the framework of the meeting of the heads of the two states in Beijing, neglected the common interests of bilateral economic and trade relations, constantly generalized the concept of national security, and abused state power to unjustifiably suppress Chinese enterprises, according to the statement of the official representative of the department.
He noted that the actions of the USA seriously violated the international economic and trade order, undermined the stability of global production and supply chains, and caused serious damage to the legal rights and interests of Chinese enterprises.
China urges the American side to immediately cease its erroneous actions, cancel the corresponding measures, return to the correct path of building China-American relations of constructive strategic stability, and ensure a fair, impartial, and non-discriminatory attitude towards Chinese enterprises.
