Los Angeles, June 12 /Xin Hua/ — On Friday, the Pentagon published a third collection of files on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP — Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena — note Xin Hua), widely known as Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs).
According to a press release from the U.S. Department of Defense, a recently declassified collection includes 72 historical documents related to UFOs, which have been gathered over many years by the Pentagon, FBI, CIA, and NASA.
According to the Pentagon, the files are posted on a special government website war.gov/UFO, and additional materials will be published by the agency on a regular basis.
Pentagon official Sean Parnell reported that since the launch on May 8, more than 1.7 billion people worldwide have visited the site. The U.S. Department of Defense and its partners are actively working on the next set of files.
