Almost 1,200 students of the capital’s colleges have signed contracts for targeted training with leading city enterprises during the 2025–2026 academic year. Partnership programs provide the opportunity to immerse oneself in the profession from the first days of study and guarantee employment in the chosen specialty. This was reported by the press service.Department of Education and Science of Moscow.
“In Moscow, the total number of students in targeted education has reached almost 3.5 thousand. The format is popular in the fields of industrial production, transport, construction, and hospitality — graduates receive guaranteed employment and competitive salaries, and employers get specialists for specific tasks,” the agency’s press service said.
Industry
A stable and sustained demand for qualified young specialists is emerging in the capital’s industry. Most of the target contracts this academic year were concluded by students of the capital’s colleges, studying specialties such as mechanical engineering technology, production and maintenance of aviation technology, locksmith work, as well as installation, technical maintenance, and repair of electronic devices and equipment.
Among the key employers are the Moscow design and production complex “Universal” named after A.I. Privalov, JSC “Moscow Machine-Building Plant ‘Avangard’”, enterprises “Aeropribor-VOZ SOD” and “Aeroflot Technics”, LLC “Gazprom Energoholding”, PJSC “Moscow United Energy Company”, PJSC “Rosseti Moscow Region”, PJSC “Yakovlev” and the production complex “Salyut” of JSC “United Engine Corporation”. Tair Sharipov, a student of the P.A. Ovchinnikov Polytechnic College, is studying in the first year specializing in “Mechanical Engineering Technology.” He signed a contract for targeted education.
A novice specialist has already completed an internship at the production complex “Salyut” of the United Engine-Building Corporation (which is part of the state corporation “Rostec”), where he was engaged in fitting and assembly work and mastered turning skills.
Choosing a profession was helped by the example of his mother, who works as an engineer-technologist at this enterprise. Since childhood, Tair has seen how she loves her work. During the internship, he was first introduced to production, where he had to work alongside experienced masters. The student machined parts on a lathe, mastered working with cutters and milling machines. Then he finally understood that he had chosen the right path.
Transport
Targeted personnel training is one of the key directions for the transport sector. This academic year, contracts were signed with leading transport companies for more than 100 students from three educational institutions: the Moscow Transport College, the Moscow Automobile and Road College named after A.A. Nikolaev, and the Moscow Technological College named after I.A. Lichachev.
The guys are undergoing practical training at their future workplace. They are learning to operate complex electrical and electromechanical equipment, mastering the basics of transport logistics, studying the maintenance and repair of modern automobiles, as well as the construction and operation of automobile roads.
Among the partners are the Moscow Metro, the largest car dealer in Russia “Rolf”, LLC “SP Business Car” and LLC “Autoretail-M”.

Hospitality Industry
Targeted education provides students not only with guaranteed employment but also gives the opportunity to receive an increased scholarship in addition to the main one with good academic performance. Payments continue even during the period of industrial practice.
The amounts of increased scholarships can be up to 20 thousand rubles. In addition, for the most successful students, the partner employer may establish an additional nominal payment.
So, 17 students from the First Moscow Educational Complex, Moscow College of Management, Hospitality Business and Information Technologies “Tsaritsyno” and the Moscow Educational Complex named after Viktor Talalihin receive personal financial support of 30 thousand rubles each from restaurant owner Andrey Dellos for high skill level and determination. The students are enrolled under a targeted contract in the fields “Culinary and Confectionery Arts” and “Cook, Confectioner”.
“Capital restaurants and public catering enterprises are actively participating in the process of training qualified personnel. We strive to provide ourselves with motivated employees who are already familiar with corporate culture and client service standards. Today we are concluding targeted agreements with students of capital colleges, investing in the future of the hospitality industry.”These young people already possess a high level of theoretical training, quickly master practical tasks, and demonstrate qualities such as proactiveness, team spirit, and a modern approach to work,” notes Denis Zubatov, director of the restaurant house.
Construction
Targeted training is becoming increasingly in demand in the construction sector. For example, developers “Koldi”, “Donstroy” and “Etalon” are forming a personnel reserve, including through a contract system. Students of the M.F. Panov College of Modern Technologies named after the Hero of the Soviet Union, the Moscow College of Architecture and Urban Planning, College of Architecture, Design and Reengineering No. 26 undergo training in information modeling, architecture, construction and operation of buildings, electrical installation specifically for future work in these companies.
