The “xian shai” season (the period of summer harvest in China) is the time when wheat ripens in Anhui province, and farmers hurry to gather the crop while the weather remains dry. On the evening of June 2, at the family farm “Shanxian” in Feidun County of the Hefei urban district, Anhui province, interregional harvest organizers harvested wheat all night using a grain harvester. The branch of the state power grid company in Hefei deployed a powerful tethered illuminating drone to light up the working field to make the work more convenient for the organizers. The drone hovering over the wheat field resembles an “artificial moon,” illuminating the path for the timely harvesting of the crop.
