Bishkek, May 19 /Xin Hua/ — The total number of unemployed in Kyrgyzstan currently amounts to 104.7 thousand people, with the overall unemployment rate at 3.7 percent. This was reported on Tuesday by the Kyrgyz National Information Agency Kabar, referring to the first deputy minister of labor, social security, and migration of the country, Kamchybek Dosmatov.
According to him, compared to 2020, the overall unemployment rate has decreased by 2.1 percentage points.
K. Dosmatov noted that thanks to the active actions of the Cabinet of Ministers in recent years, the situation in the labor market of Kyrgyzstan remains stable. The number of jobs created is gradually increasing: in 2025, 274 thousand were created, whereas in 2023 — 109 thousand, and in 2024 — 263 thousand. –0–
