Minsk, May 19 /Sinhua/ — Belarusian Foreign Minister Maksim Ryzhhenkov on Tuesday once again stated the unchanged position of his country on supporting the sovereignty of Venezuela. This was reported by the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the same day.

As reported, M. Ryzhenkov made a corresponding statement in the course of a meeting with the Ambassador of Venezuela to Belarus Franklin Ramirez Arace, which took place on the occasion of the completion of F.R. Arace’s diplomatic mission in Belarus.

During the conversation, the parties held a “quick exchange” on the most pressing issues of bilateral interaction and discussed plans for holding joint events in the near future. It was also noted that the parties provide mutual support on the international stage.

The head of the Belarusian foreign policy department expressed gratitude to the Venezuelan ambassador for the fruitful activities and personal contribution to the development of Belarus-Venezuela relations based on mutual trust and respect.
