Students worked on development concepts for the aerodromes “Gorelovo”, “Gorskaya” and “Sivoritsy”. The work was done in extracurricular time and included studying the infrastructure of the territories, photo documentation, analysis of the existing development, and the development of architectural and planning solutions.

Aleksey PerovIt should be noted that the project became an important practical work experience with real territories and customers for the students: “With the students, we visited all the sites, walked through the territories on foot, took a large number of photographs, and familiarized ourselves with the objects directly on site. Despite the very tight deadlines, the guys showed great independence and took a serious approach to studying the regulatory framework and developing concepts.”

The concept of the “Gorelovo” airfield was presented by a fourth-year student majoring in “Architectural Environment Design”.Karina Musina, Anna KrivenkovaиDarya Gorozhankina.

According to her, students from various faculties of SPbGASU can participate in such a project – architectural, construction, automotive-road, faculty of environmental engineering and urban economy, as well as economic training programs.

“Project-based learning involves combining students with different competencies. This allows not only developing concepts but also performing engineering calculations, modeling, economic evaluation, and comprehensive project elaboration,” emphasized the vice-rector for youth policy.

The parties agreed on further cooperation, in particular on the development of unmanned technologies, in sports, tourism, and military-patriotic education.
