Cairo, May 13 /Xinhua/ — Since the first China-Arab States Summit in 2022, China and the Arab side have been guided by the goal of building a China-Arab community of shared destiny in a new era, actively developing cooperation in various fields. This is stated in a report by the Xinhua Analytical Center, published here on Wednesday.
Under the conditions of accelerating the new wave of global scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation, China is actively interacting with Arab states in order to develop leading cooperation projects in areas related to innovations, as stated in the report entitled “Achievements, Opportunities and Prospects of Chinese-Arab Cooperation in the New Era,” published by the Xi’an Institute, an analytical center affiliated with the Xi’an Academy of International Affairs.
China is actively transferring advanced and applied technologies to Arab states, according to the report, citing as an example the demonstration livestock technology center in Mauritania created with China’s assistance. The center successfully grows almost 1000 mu (about 67 hectares) of fodder crops on the edge of the Sahara Desert, turning barren lands into oases.
Meanwhile, China cooperates with Arab states, including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Oman, and Morocco, in the joint creation of several high-level science and industrial parks, the report indicates. –0–
