At the Moscow Automobile and Road College (MADK) named after I.A. Nikolaev, a series of career guidance lectures was held for students by experts from LLC “SETrans” – a service company of the auto giant that serves the city passenger transport KAMAZ.
The events were aimed at acquainting first- and second-year students with the career opportunities offered by LLC “SETrans”, as well as with the real working conditions and technologies that are currently used at the modern service station for electric buses and KAMAZ buses.
Meetings were held in the format of an open dialogue. The head of the production training group of LLC “Setrans”, Evgeny Rusin, not only spoke about the demand for the professions of auto mechanics, auto electricians, and foremen, but also shared his personal experience of working in the company. Special emphasis was placed mainly on the main activity of the enterprise – the technical maintenance of electric buses.Students were clearly explained how servicing an electric bus fundamentally differs from that of a diesel bus, what knowledge and skills they will need in the near future, and what opportunities for career and professional growth open up for young specialists at “SETrans.”
The main outcome of the events was the formation among students of a realistic idea about their future profession and its place in the modern urban infrastructure. For many freshmen, this conversation became their first direct contact with a potential employer, and for sophomores, it was an opportunity to adjust their educational path taking into account the real market demands.

The earlier a student begins to understand the specifics of work in their specialty, the more successful their career will be. At the moment, 15 graduates of the I.A. Nikolaev MADK are already employed with us, and today’s lectures are another step in the course of our long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation with the college.”, – notedEvgeny Rusin.
The company “S-Trans” will continue the practice of career guidance meetings in specialized educational institutions of Moscow and the Moscow region.
