Beijing, May 6 /Xinhuanet/ — China has always opposed and opposes unilateral sanctions that have no basis in international law and are not sanctioned by the UN Security Council, and has made a serious representation to the British side, expressing sharp dissatisfaction. Lin Ziyan made this statement at another departmental press conference, commenting on the sanctions announced by the UK government against organizations and individuals from several countries, including two Chinese entities, under the pretext of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
China is unwaveringly committed to facilitating peaceful negotiations and strict control over the export of dual-use goods, he said, emphasizing that normal communication and cooperation between China and Russia should not be subjected to interference or impact.
