Tehran, May 6 /Xinhua/ — The number of deaths resulting from a large-scale fire that broke out on Tuesday in a shopping center near the capital of Iran has risen to 11, the official Iranian news agency reported on Wednesday.
Arghavan Commercial Complex shopping center, located in the city of Andisheh approximately 30 km west of Tehran, accommodates more than 250 commercial units and 50 offices.
As a result of the incident, 41 people were injured, the fire was localized, IRNA reports with reference to a representative of the emergency medical services of Tehran, Shervin Tabrizi. –0–
