Beijing, May 6 /Xinhua/ — An official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, Lin Xian, said on Wednesday that the right-wing forces of Japan are insisting on accelerating the process of remilitarization, adding that Japanese neo-militarism is gaining strength and poses a threat to peace and stability in the region.
Lin Ziyan made such a statement at another departmental press conference, commenting on reports that Japan recently launched Type 88 missiles in a series of joint military exercises “Balikatan” between the United States and the Philippines, which became the first case of Japan launching offensive missiles beyond its territory since the end of World War II. -0-
