In SOSH No. 30 in Naberezhnye Chelny, a career guidance event “KAMAZ Day” was held, organized by the company’s development block specialists.
The event was held jointly with the school’s teachers and specialists from “Quantorium”, KGAMT, Potashov Technical College, NPK, KNITU-KAI K(P)FU and PISH “CyberAvtotex”. It took place in an interactive format and was organized taking into account the interests and age characteristics of the children. On this day, about 1400 children got acquainted with the auto giant.
The results of creative competitions among younger students were summed up, the jury included designers from the development block. First graders prepared drawings on the theme “Chelny – city of the future, KAMAZ – its strength,” second graders – “KAMAZ: half a century of power and beauty,” and third graders came up with postcards on the theme “City and KAMAZ: anniversary on every postcard.” For 4th and 5th graders, the organizers prepared an active game “Autorally,” in which schoolchildren were able to try on KAMAZ workwear, “drive” a car, and learn more about the car’s construction.
Students of grades 6-7 were invited to participate in a clip contest dedicated to the “KAMAZ Day.” The kids filmed short videos, prepared accompanying texts, selected music, and edited a short film. In each clip, the students talked about what they did during the eventful day and shared their impressions. The contest winners received well-deserved awards from the organizers. Older students enthusiastically participated in a “brainstorming”: they played intellectual games “What Profession”, “What? Where? When?” and a brain-ring, and learned a lot of new things in the process.
The school students’ day turned out to be interesting and productive. And as a memento of the event, anyone who wished could take bright photos next to the Kamaz vehicle: in the courtyard of the development block a KAMAZ-54901 truck was displayed, and from “Tekhnogorod” – a sport buggy.
