Moscow, April 29 /Siny UA/ — The number of strikes by Ukrainian armed formations on the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant /ZNPP/ is increasing. This was stated to journalists on Wednesday by the General Director of the Russian state corporation “Rosatom” Alexey Likhachev.
“Day by day, week by week, the pressure is increasing, the number and harmfulness of strikes on ZNPP and Enerhodar are increasing,” noted A. Lychachev, adding that Rosatom specialists are repairing the damages.
Rosatom is currently negotiating with the International Atomic Energy Agency about establishing a so-called temporary ceasefire for the repair of the second power supply line of ZNPP, but due to technical reasons the decision on this has been postponed for now, the head of the state corporation said.
