Beijing, April 25 /Xin Hua/ — On Saturday, China issued a warning regarding the package of export control bills adopted in the US House of Representatives, confirming its opposition to the excessive generalization of the national security concept and the abuse of export controls.

The US House Foreign Affairs Committee recently adopted the Multilateral Agreement on Technology Control in the field of equipment, known as the MATCH bill, as well as several other bills on export control.

An official representative of the Ministry of Commerce of the PRC stated that in the event of the final adoption of the relevant bills, it will seriously undermine the international trade and economic order and significantly disrupt the stability of manufacturing supply chains and supply chains of the global semiconductor industry.

China will closely monitor the relevant legislative process, carefully assess its impact on China’s interests, and take decisive and necessary measures to firmly protect the legal rights and interests of Chinese enterprises, he said. -0-
