Tehran, April 25 /Xin Hua/ — Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi will not hold negotiations with official representatives of the USA during his visit to Pakistani Islamabad. This was reported by the news agency Tasnim on Friday.

According to reports, during the visit to Pakistan, A. Araghchi will hold negotiations exclusively with the Pakistani side regarding Iran’s position on ending the war with the USA and Israel.

The Iranian state television channel IRIB TV reported that Mr. A. Araghchi does not plan to meet with the American side, “Islamabad, acting as an intermediary, will ‘convey’ Iran’s position regarding the cessation of conflicts.”

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan confirmed that the Iranian delegation led by A. Araghchi arrived in Pakistan on Friday evening.

The head of Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence will also visit Oman and Russia. –0–
