Beijing, April 24 /Xin Hua/ — China has decided to lift the corresponding countermeasures against two banks of the European Union /EU/, UAB Urbo Bankas and AB Mano Bankas, on April 24, 2026, and exclude these financial institutions from the list of entities subject to countermeasures.
According to the statement of the Ministry of Commerce of the PRC, this decision was made in accordance with the country’s law “On Countering Foreign Sanctions” and the provisions on its application, taking into account that on April 23, 2026, the EU announced the lifting of sanctions from two Chinese financial institutions.
