Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova spoke at the All-Russian offsite conference on the development of medicine for healthy longevity, participated in the opening of the Center for Medicine of Healthy Longevity, the ceremony of cancellation of the postage stamp dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the Union of Theater Workers, visited the House of the Artist, and held a meeting with the governor of the region, Artyom Zdunov.

Vice Premier Tatyana Golikova, Minister of Health of Russia Mikhail Murashko, and the head of Mordovia Artyom Zdunov opened the Center for Healthy Longevity Medicine in Saransk.

“I want to thank Artyom Alekseevich for the well-organized center,” said Tatyana Golikova. “We saw how the patient routing was worked out and what services can be provided here. It is very important for us that this infrastructure works for people who have no symptoms of diseases, but the research results will help them adjust their life behavior model based on the risks that doctors see. And if a person already has diseases, coordination with other specialists will be ensured, as this person is already registered under dispensary observation.”But our main task is to increase the expected healthy life expectancy. This is the main national goal set by the President of Russia. Not only healthcare, but a whole range of activities focused in this center will work to stimulate people towards a healthy lifestyle. Since January 1, 2026, we have launched the creation of such centers, provided appropriate financial resources in the state guarantees program. We hope that from January 1, 2027, the whole country will operate at full capacity.

The model of the Center for Medicine of Healthy Longevity was presented for the first time at the first forum “Russia and the World: Trends of Healthy Longevity” in May 2025. The project aims to make the most modern methods of diagnosing the risks of age-related diseases, as well as technologies for prolonging healthy and active life, accessible. This is the first center opened in the region. In the future, the creation of centers for healthy longevity will be gradually rolled out across all regions of Russia.

Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko emphasized that the program related to a healthy lifestyle and the transformation of longevity is the right track that is developing worldwide.

In Mordovia, active work is being carried out within the framework of the regional movement “For medicine, health, and longevity.” Throughout the year, mobile teams, which include not only medical professionals but also workers from culture, sports, education, and the youth sector, visit all districts of the republic. The main goal is not just to conduct examinations and consultations, but also to cultivate a culture of healthy living among the population, and, consequently, longevity.

“Now we will engage in healthy longevity constantly,” said Artyom Zdunov. “We need to reformat our lives so that something changes in our heads. Very deep research is conducted at this center. All specialists have undergone training at the Russian Scientific Center for Surgery named after Academician B.V. Petrovsky. It is important to change the trajectory of a person’s life towards longevity. The center is accessible to everyone because it operates under the state guarantees program. I want to say thanks to Tatyana Alekseevna Golikova and Mikhail Albertovich Murashko for financing such projects.”

In addition, the Center for Healthy Longevity is implementing a program for the preservation of cognitive and psycho-emotional health, developed by the Federal Medical-Biological Agency. The sessions will be conducted by specialists who have undergone training at the Brain and Neurotechnology Center of the FMBA of Russia.

The Vice Premier also visited the new cultural site of the republic – the House of the Artist. The opening of the House of the Artist in the regions of the country was proposed by the chairman of the Union of Theatre Workers of Russia, Vladimir Mashkov, and the initiative was supported by the President of the country, Vladimir Putin. The House of the Artist’s program includes creative evenings and meetings, benefits, theatrical performances, master classes, exhibitions, concerts, and educational film lectures. Special attention is paid to working with children and youth, including activities of school theaters.

“We believe that such Houses of Artists, which will appear throughout the country, will make culture accessible to everyone, as well as the history of their region, their state. This is especially important in the Year of the Unity of the Peoples of Russia, which the President has declared. We hope that they will become spaces for education, talent development, and acquiring new knowledge. And such magnificent professionals, among whom is Vladimir Lvovich Mashkov, will come to you and talk about our country, art, traditions, and history. I sincerely thank the head of Mordovia for making this possible,” said Tatyana Golikova.

Vladimir Mashkov noted: “This is the first House of the Artist in the country – before that, there were only Actors’ Houses. Our great writer Denis Fonvizin said: ‘What is the difference between an actor and an artist? An actor is a talented performer, while an artist is a creator, a painter, a creator.’ I want to wish everyone inspiration. And do not forget that your longevity and active longevity still depend on art. Live long and happily! Thank you for loving theater!”

The key event of the trip was the All-Russian meeting dedicated to the work of centers for healthy longevity medicine, which was conducted by Tatyana Golikova.

Participants in the meeting included doctors, scientists, organizers of healthcare, politicians, public figures, representatives of the spheres of culture and sports, experts. In video conference mode for discussing an important topic, all regions of the country joined.

At the center of attention is the transformation of health centers, the implementation of early detection mechanisms for disease risks, and the formation of a sustainable prevention system oriented towards the individual. “Today we are talking about a new scientific direction — the biology of aging, which is becoming the basis for the formation of a modern healthcare system. We face the serious task of developing this direction, implementing it in practical medicine, and essentially rebooting the preventive link.””The speech is about identifying risk factors and preliminary signs of diseases at the earliest stage, forming in a person a responsible attitude towards their health, and accompanying it throughout life,” emphasized Tatyana Golikova.

At the end of last year, the President of the country approved a new Strategy for the Development of Healthcare until 2030, where a special place is given to the medicine of healthy longevity. The main task is to create a new model of human health care, in which a key place is allocated to the work of healthy longevity centers.

The head of the republic, Artyom Zdunov, spoke about the experience of the region. “We have formed an integrated system that includes culture, sports, youth policy, media, and agriculture. We will create multidisciplinary teams that travel to the districts. The focus of the republic is to produce and sell useful products, including organic ones. We professionally address the issue of school meals, conduct an all-Russian parental forum, and all children from large families, regardless of the principle of need, receive free hot meals. Our task is to teach young people to live long.”Therefore, our center for healthy longevity is primarily designed for the younger generation. Of course, women tend to be more interested in maintaining health. However, men need to be taken by the hand and brought here,” said the head of the republic.

In addition, at the All-Russian offsite conference in Saransk, they discussed how to integrate culture and art into medicine. The section was devoted to the role of the Union of Theatre Workers in promoting medicine of healthy longevity.

Tatyana Golikova emphasized that culture is a powerful tool for a positive impact on a person, on their cognitive health.

At the conference, there was also a ceremony of commemorative cancellation of a collectible postage stamp issued in honor of the 150th anniversary of the Union of Theater Workers, with the participation of Tatyana Golikova and Vladimir Mashkov.

In addition, Tatyana Golikova held a meeting with the head of the republic, the chairman of the State Council commission on the “Family” direction, Artyom Zdunov. Issues of modernization of the republic’s healthcare infrastructure were discussed.

The head of the republic noted that, by the directive of the President of Russia and with the support of the country’s Government, construction of a new oncology dispensary building continues in Mordovia. It was noted that the detection of oncological diseases in the republic has increased due to the fact that several years ago a new polyclinic with modern equipment appeared, and modern technologies are being used.

“I report that all work at the facility is proceeding according to plan, this issue is fundamental for us. We need to complete this construction as quickly as possible in order to provide quality treatment to the residents of the republic,” said Artyom Zdunov.

Artyom Zdunov also spoke about the pace of modernization of the primary healthcare sector – this includes repairs and construction of medical facilities, including in rural areas, re-equipping polyclinics, hospitals, and women’s consultation centers: “This program is one of those that receives the greatest response from people and the most positive reaction.”

Tatyana Golikova noted the successful implementation of the republic’s primary healthcare modernization program – 2.7 billion rubles of federal funds were allocated in the first stage.

“I hope that financing for the new stage of the program for 2025–2030 in the amount of 3.2 billion rubles will help make Mordovia’s healthcare system even more accessible and modern. I am confident that the republic will work as successfully as in the first stage because the most important thing is our citizens,” emphasized the vice-premier.
