Specialists urban management complex completed a comprehensive renovation of 1st Cable Passage in the southeast of the capital. This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Housing and Communal Services and Improvement Pyotr Biryukov.
“This year, a comprehensive renovation of the 1st Kabelny Proezd in the Lefortovo district was carried out. The main task was to create comfortable conditions for drivers and pedestrians to move around, and to organize convenient routes to important sites,” said Petr Biryukov.
During the work, the asphalt concrete pavement on the roadway and sidewalks, totaling about 10,000 square meters, was completely replaced.
Special attention was paid to lighting. Lanterns with energy-efficient lamps were installed in the passage, and the unregulated pedestrian crossing was equipped with a contrasting lighting support. At the final stage, landscaping was carried out: about five thousand square meters of lawn were arranged.
When selecting sites for comprehensive repairs, the time elapsed since the last repair, the condition of the pavement, traffic intensity, as well as the proximity of significant facilities are taken into account.
