About 5,100 residents from 23 old buildings have signed contracts for housing in new buildings according to renovation program in the Zapadnoye Degunino district over five and a half years. This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Development Policy and Construction Vladimir Yefimov.

“The implementation of the renovation program in the Zapadnoye Degunino district began with the relocation of residents from seven five-story buildings in 2021. Over five and a half years, contracts for apartments in new buildings have already been signed by 100 percent of city residents from 22 old houses here, and Muscovites from one more building are still in the process of completing documents for the move. Thus, the owners of new apartments in Zapadnoye Degunino have become more than half of the participants in the current program — about 5,100 people. In total, the district plans to provide housing in modern complexes for almost 9,600 program participants from 45 buildings,” said Vladimir Efimov.

The city provided participants of the renovation program in Western Degunino with six new buildings. Three of them are located on Bazovskaya Street, one each on Angarskaya and Puteyskaya Streets, as well as on Korovinskoye Highway. The apartments given to Muscovites meet the standards of the renovation program. They feature a thoughtful layout and improved finishing.

“Only this year, residents of nine houses scheduled for relocation in Western Degunino have completed the paperwork for new real estate under the renovation program, and residents from eight of them have already moved into modern residential complexes. This allows the city to dismantle old buildings and prepare construction sites for new housing and accompanying infrastructure. In particular, the ground floors of residential complexes under the renovation program are designed for shops, service sector enterprises, and city organizations, which increases the accessibility of goods and services for city residents. Nearby, there are playgrounds and sports grounds, as well as places for walking and relaxation,” she noted.

Ekaterina Solovyeva, Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Department of City Property.

The renovation program was approved in August 2017. Its implementation will affect about one million Muscovites. Within the program, it is planned to resettle 5,176 houses. Earlier, Sergey Sobyanin instructed to increase the pace of the program’s implementation. twice. In addition, he reported on its implementation in Ryazan district.
