By the end of the second quarter of 2026, the number of high-tech jobs in special economic zone The (SEZ) ‘Technopolis Moscow’ has exceeded 34 thousand. Of these, 26.6 thousand were created by residents. This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry. Maksim Liksutov.

“On the instructions of Sergey Sobyanin, the city actively supports the development of innovative and knowledge-intensive industries. In the SEZ ‘Technopolis Moscow,’ all conditions have been created for them — from tax incentives to a developed industrial infrastructure and a high-quality business ecosystem. Such support yields tangible results. In the first half of 2026, the residents of the capital’s SEZ created 30 percent more new jobs than during the same period last year. As a result, the staff of highly qualified specialists in the special economic zone has grown by almost 2,500 people,” noted Maxim Liksutov.

The manufacturer of large-sized reinforced concrete modules for residential construction, “Innovative Technologies Plant — Monarch,” hired 636 people in the first six months of the year. Another resident — the Karacharovsky Mechanical Plant — has created 147 new jobs. Today, the first elevator manufacturing and vertical transport cluster in Russia is being formed based on the enterprise. As part of the modernization, it is planned to increase production capacity to 12,000 elevators per year, as well as to expand the range of products manufactured.

The pharmaceutical manufacturer, Velfarm-M company, expanded its staff by 131 specialists in the first half of the year.
