During a working visit to the Novosibirsk region, the Russian Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services, Irek Envarovich Faizullin, visited Novosibirsk State University. He was accompanied by the Governor of the Novosibirsk region, Andrey Alexandrovich Travnikov, and the rector of NSU, Dmitry Vladimirovich Pyshny.
During the visit, the minister inspected the Stream Auditorium Building, walked around the dormitory campus, and also visited the Educational and Scientific Center of the Institute of Medicine and Medical Technologies and the Novosibirsk State University Research Center. These facilities are part of the second phase of the modern campus of Novosibirsk State University. Earlier, on September 2, the building of the NSU Educational and Scientific Center of the Institute of Medicine and Medical Technologies was put into operation, and a grand opening was held during which a time capsule was laid for future scientists and researchers. In the building with an area of over 12.5 thousand square meters, more than 700 students will study. Guests also visited the accreditation-simulation center, one of the most advanced in Russia. Up to 180 research staff will be able to work in the NSU Research Center building, which spans more than 11 thousand square meters.
