Students of the State University of Management participated in the Second World Public Assembly “New World: Values That Unite.” The forum took place on September 18–19 at the Moscow International Trade Center and gathered about 5,000 participants from more than 150 countries.

Our university was represented by Nguyen Thi Hai Anh, a 2nd-year graduate student, Maria Mashkova, a 4th-year bachelor’s student of ISUIP, and Safarali Ashurov, a 2nd-year master’s student of ISUIP. For them, this became a unique platform for professional growth. The students got acquainted with key trends in global development and exchanged ideas with experts, diplomats, cultural figures, and youth leaders.

During the discussions, participants were able to discuss strategies for societal development. Based on the meetings, the key guidelines for the 21st century were formulated as follows: peace and non-violence, dialogue and mutual understanding, respect for human dignity, cultural diversity, and empathy.

The event was organized by the International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations “Assembly of the Peoples of the World” and was timed to coincide with the UN International Day of Peace, gathering about 5,000 participants from more than 150 countries.

An official video address to the participants of the Assembly was sent by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Sergey Lavrov. He emphasized that people’s diplomacy and non-governmental organizations serve as a crucial bridge for maintaining trust, preventing conflicts, and deepening intercultural dialogue.

The experience of our students is directly related to the future plans of the organizers. The Secretary-General of the Assembly, Andrey Belyaninov, announced that 2027 will be the 10th anniversary year of the organization. A series of international events under the motto “Towards the 10th Anniversary of the Assembly of the Peoples of the World” has already been launched, aimed at strengthening trust between peoples. The knowledge gained by the students of the State University of Management at this forum will become an excellent foundation for implementing these global ideas.
