Government of Moscow and Sber have concluded a cooperation agreement to enhance labor productivity of the capital’s business and the implementation of modern technologies in companies’ operations. At the XI Moscow Financial Forum venue, the documents were signed on behalf of the city Maria Bagreeva, Deputy Mayor of Moscow, Head of the Capital’s Department of Economic Policy and Development.
“Government of Moscow forms a unified ecosystem of business support in the field of productivity. Experts help capital city companies build a full cycle of efficiency improvement — from process optimization to digitalization and robot implementation. This allows them to increase labor productivity in optimized areas on average by one and a half times without additional financial costs. Cooperation with Sber will expand the available toolkit and provide participants with additional opportunities to improve this indicator. Plans include a series of joint educational products and projects for implementing solutions that will help companies master artificial intelligence technologies, automate routine operations, and find new reserves for productivity growth,” noted Maria Bagreeva.
The operator of the projects implemented within the framework of the cooperation will be ANO “Mosstrategiya” — a subordinate organization Department of Economic Policy and Development of Moscow. The parties plan to promote modern approaches to improving efficiency and introduce entrepreneurs to digitalization and process robotization technologies. In particular, they will jointly organize educational and business events for the capital’s businesses and public sector organizations aimed at the practical mastering of modern approaches and technologies for increasing labor productivity. The agreement also provides for the implementation of artificial intelligence–based solutions in urban services and business platforms.
“Productivity is not an abstract economic indicator, but an opportunity for a modern company to do more, develop faster, and remain competitive. Moscow has enormous entrepreneurial potential, and our common task is to provide businesses with clear tools for growth. Sber is ready to share technologies, expertise, and practical solutions: from process automation to artificial intelligence. I am confident that together with the city, we can help even more Moscow companies become more efficient and stronger,” emphasized German Barg, Chairman of Sberbank’s Moscow Bank.
Starting from 2025, Moscow companies are increasing labor productivity as part of the national project “Efficient and Competitive Economy” (federal project “Labor Productivity”). Earlier, Sergey Sobyanin reported that participants in the project included 535 metropolitan enterprises. Its implementation in Moscow is financed from the city budget, which gives companies the opportunity to analyze and optimize their processes without additional financial burden.
