In the project “Active Citizen» summed up the results of the polls in which participants chose their favorite refreshing drinks and ice cream available in the capital’s stores. City residents left on the website ag.mos.ru more than 3.5 million opinions and helped determine the winners of the “Moscow Quality” contest in 23 categories.
In the category “Juices, water, drinks” Muscovites named their favorite brands of apple, orange, and tomato juices, cherry nectar, kvass, traditional and original lemonades, “Cola” and “Tarkhun” drinks, as well as mineral table and children’s drinking water. Products from city manufacturers and craft products help diversify taste preferences. For example, among “active citizens,” carbonated drinks with “lime-jasmine” and “Duchess” flavors are popular.
In the category “Ice Cream” Muscovites have chosen the best plombir ice cream covered in chocolate, glaze, waffle cone or cup, as well as classic creamy ice cream and family-size options. Additionally, among the favorites are a frozen coconut-based dessert with a tropical flavor, a sugar-free “Mango – Passion Fruit” sorbet, “Soufflé” Eskimo in milk chocolate, and sugar-free ice cream in a waffle cup. The winner in the “Made in Moscow” category was recognized as creamy ice cream with chocolate flavor.
As a result of the voting, manufacturers received the exclusive right to place the “Moscow Quality” mark on the packaging of winning products.
Competition “Moscow Quality” is held annually by the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the support of the Moscow Government. Its task is to identify the best goods and services, promote domestic products, and develop the capital’s consumer market.
Project “Active Citizen” has been operating since 2014. During this time, more than seven million people have joined it, and a total of over 7,900 votes have taken place. Each month, 30 to 40 decisions of Muscovites are implemented in the city. The project is developed by the State Public Institution “New Management Technologies” and the capital Department of Information Technology.
