The plant for the production of translucent structures and modular facades of the First DSK has started operation in Zelenograd, and the enterprise has begun product output. This was reported by the Minister of the Moscow Government, head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy Anatoly Garbuzov.
“Moscow consistently supports the development of modern enterprises that supply the city’s construction industry with in-demand products while simultaneously creating new jobs. One of the results of this support is a plant in Zelenograd, where the production of translucent structures and modular facades has started. Once it reaches the design capacity, the annual production volume will amount to 425 thousand square meters, of which 159 thousand will be PVC structures, 82 thousand will be solutions with warm glazing, and another 184 thousand with cold glazing. The implementation of the project has made it possible to create more than 140 high-tech jobs,” Anatoly Garbuzov said.
Two city support mechanisms were used in the construction of the plant: large-scale investment project and a program to stimulate the creation of jobs. Enterprise became part of the industrial and construction complex of the group of companies “FSK”, which Sergey Sobyanin opened in the spring.
Currently, the plant is increasing production volumes and continuing to build its staff. Reaching full design capacity is planned for this fall.
The factory’s finished products can be integrated into facade modules. This approach allows for transferring part of the technological processes from the construction site to the factory environment, increasing the readiness level of the elements and reducing their installation time on site.
“At every stage of production, our specialists perform all processes of product creation according to the technology: laminating, cutting, milling, final assembly, and quality control. This guarantees that the products meet the required specifications and have long service life. We deliver finished aluminum structures directly to the construction site and install them on location. We use PVC windows in prefab systems: they arrive at the Rostokino plant, where they are installed in reinforced concrete structures and ventilated wall panels. This way, the facade is formed and the building’s thermal envelope is sealed simultaneously, allowing the installation time to be reduced by four to six times. This is our response to the construction market’s demand: speed, predictable deadlines, and stable quality,” said the company’s Deputy General Director, Valery Tashmatov.
Large-scale investment projects have been implemented in Moscow since 2016 and remain one of the key tools for the development of the city’s economy. They allow investors to develop industrial, social, and commercial facilities on preferential terms, thereby creating new jobs.
The program to stimulate the creation of jobs has been operating in Moscow since 2020 and has covered almost all districts of the city. Within its framework, investors will build more than 300 facilities with a total area of 9.7 million square meters.
The program will see the emergence of new industrial enterprises, offices, shopping centers, education, cultural, and sports facilities. The total volume of attracted investments will exceed 3.5 trillion rubles, and the number of new jobs will reach 450 thousand across almost all sectors of the urban economy.
