A multisport center and a football arena will be built in Kommunarka. Both buildings will be designed in a modern style with elements of minimalism. The architectural concept of the project has already been approved, and the completion of the facilities is planned for 2029. Sergei Sobyanin announced this on his channel on in the “Max” messenger.
“We will make the facade with alternating white and terracotta-red panels. Vertical volumes with panoramic glazing will form a recognizable appearance of the objects. And the abundance of natural light through panoramic windows will create comfortable conditions for training. At night, the buildings will become a visual decoration of the block,” wrote the Mayor of Moscow.

The multisport center will create conditions for practicing various sports. It is planned to have halls for basketball, volleyball, cycling training, tennis, and badminton, as well as a gym.
The football arena will be equipped with a main area containing the field, seating for spectators, and facilities necessary for training and comfortable rest for athletes.
Cafes and shops will be opened for visitors, covered parking lots will be equipped. Public spaces with places for relaxation and bike parking will appear.
Nearby is the Potapovo metro station, and convenient access to highway Solntsevo — Butovo — Varshavskoe Highway.
“A lot has already been done for the development of Kommunarka. We have built a multidisciplinary clinical cluster and about 50 other social facilities. The Sokolnicheskaya and
Troitskaya metro lines. The population of Kommunarka has exceeded 180 thousand people and continues to grow,” noted Sergey Sobyanin.

Construction is actively underway in Kommunarka roads. The construction of several unique facilities has recently begun: a campus and the main competence center for the machine tool industry for the Moscow State Technological University “STANKIN”.
