“The city is carrying out systematic work to upgrade gas regulation stations, which are responsible for reducing gas pressure to certain levels and maintaining it within set limits. We have completed the repair of the ‘Vokzalny’ gas regulation station, which supplies gas to the Koptovo and Voykovsky districts,” noted Petr Biryukov.

The decision to upgrade was made due to the extended use of the gas equipment. The work was carried out in a short time frame without disconnecting consumers from the gas supply.

As part of the project, outdated equipment was replaced with a modern compact cabinet-type gas regulation unit, manufactured from Russian components at the in-house production facility of JSC “Mosgaz”. The new equipment is reliable, quiet, and meets safety requirements. In addition, the gas supply pipelines were also replaced.

All metropolitan gas control stations are required to be equipped with shut-off devices. Their operating parameters are constantly monitored from the central dispatch center, which allows for real-time management of the gas system.
