Project “Youth of Moscow» creates multi-format spaces that form an accessible urban ecosystem for professional and personal development. Available to Muscovites aged 14 to 35 are a 3D printing and modeling studio, neuro-orientation services, design and video production studios, and other opportunities. All venues can be booked for free on the portal “Youth of Moscow”.

Multiformat spaces

There are three multifunctional spaces in Moscow under the “Youth of Moscow” project. The venues are equipped with modern equipment: they have 3D printers for prototyping, recording studios, computers with professional software, and devices for neuro-orientation.

Anastasia Gruzinova, a student of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, used the media studio for an academic project. In the photo studio, she took professional shots of the team; in the photo and video editing and 3D modeling studio, she did retouching; and then, together with her classmates, recorded an audio track for the ‘Miss Presidential Academy’ contest in the recording studio. Anastasia noted that she chose the ‘Youth of Moscow. Zvezdny’ space because of its convenient location near the university — this allows gathering students with different schedules in one place. According to her, the opportunity to carry out projects for free is important, as the future is not a privilege—it should be accessible today.

Anfisa Pishuk, a student at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, uses a 3D studio to create functional prototypes and original items. For example, a printed model of a cat became a home accessory, was liked by social media followers, and helped find a commercial partner with their own manufacturing equipment. Anfisa emphasized that such spaces provide confidence that any idea has the right to exist, and allow not just dreaming but acting. She plans to print cases for mini inventions, jewelry elements, and unique items. Among the advantages of such venues, the student mentioned friendly staff, high-quality equipment, and free access.

The 3D studio is equipped with programs necessary for modeling, and specialists help to eliminate inaccuracies in the work. Media studios not only allow content creation but also its immediate processing.

Neurocareer guidance using modern technologies

In the multiformat space “Youth of Moscow” in Kholodilny Lane (building 3, block 1, structure 8), young Muscovites can undergo neurocareer guidance using modern technologies. The diagnostics help determine professional preferences based on objective indicators of brain activity and cognitive features.

A participant in the special military operation (SMO), Georgiy Yesemchik, after returning to civilian life, underwent neuro-professional orientation. He learned about the method from acquaintances, and his main motivation was interest. Initially, Georgiy was skeptical about the idea that a computer could seriously influence self-perception, although he allowed that the testing might open up a new professional field for him.

The diagnostic results matched his internal feelings: it was confirmed that administrative and managerial activities suit him. Georgiy Yesemchik noted that the testing format is noticeably different from traditional paper questionnaires. Instead of the usual questions, brain activity analysis is used, which cannot be adapted to the desired outcome. The diagnostic helped him structure his existing skills and strengthened his self-confidence. The system highlighted his strengths: analytical thinking and the ability to interact effectively with people. For Georgiy, this was not a revelation but a clear guideline.

“I would advise young fighters of the special military operation to take part in such testing, to understand which field to pursue further. In any case, it will give confidence. After returning to civilian life, you realize that much has changed and you need to be able to adapt to the new realities,” noted Georgiy Yesemchik.

Nika, the wife of Georgy, also used neuro-orientation after returning from maternity leave. She was familiar with the method thanks to her husband’s experience, but wanted to personally evaluate the operation of the equipment that records brain activity. In her opinion, the main advantage of this approach is the impossibility of distorting the results. Unlike standard tests, where one can answer logically or by guessing, here the system reflects the real picture of brain activity.

One of the unexpected outcomes for Nika was the results of the spatial reasoning tasks. They came easily to her and indicated a tendency towards an engineering direction. Despite her experience working in the creative field, the test revealed Nika’s analytical mindset, and her creativity turned out to be closely tied to her ability to systematize information. The result both confirmed expectations and surprised her. Nika intends to take the recommendations into account and believes that such career guidance will be useful not only for schoolchildren but also for those who have lost their professional bearings, as well as young mothers after maternity leave. She believes that relying on real abilities is the key to work becoming a source of satisfaction.

Neurocareer guidance is available to Muscovites aged 14 to 35. Such tools are a step towards a conscious tomorrow in the city of the future, Moscow. The capital is developing technologies that help its residents confidently find their place in the new reality.
