GUU shared its experience of cooperation with China in the field of education at the round table “Youth Cooperation between Russia and China: New Formats, New Achievements” at the Society of Russian-Chinese Friendship (ORCD). The event is dedicated to the years of education held between Russia and China.
Representatives of the Institute of China and Contemporary Asia of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the State University of Management, the Russian State Social University, MGIMO, students and teachers of the Polytechnic College of Jiangsu Province, accompanied by representatives of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, exchanged experiences of Russian-Chinese cooperation in the field of education.
The Director of the Center for Socio-Economic and Political Studies of China at GUU, Fanis Sharipov, who hosted the event at the request of the ORCD, spoke about our university’s work in the field of Russian-Chinese education. GUU students Ivan Vasilyev and Nadezhda Savinova, studying in the Russian-Chinese program “International Production Business,” communicated in Chinese with their peers from China.
The highlight of the meeting was a tea ceremony conducted by Chinese students, and a concert they prepared, which included a performance of “Katyusha.”
Let us recall that the Russian-Chinese dual degree program has been implemented at the State University of Management since 2014. Today, our university has cooperation agreements with six higher education institutions in China across a variety of areas, ranging from joint educational programs to participation in summer research schools.
