By City Day, the comprehensive reconstruction of the fountain under the model of the Vostok launch vehicle at VDNKh was completed. This was reported by Sergey Sobyanin in his channel in the “Max” messenger.
“In the evenings, light and water shows will take place here. To music, some streams of water will rise up to 35 meters, while others will form incredible shapes,” wrote the Mayor of Moscow.

The specialists carried out a large and meticulous job. The old basin was dismantled, and a new structure was created in its place. Modern equipment was installed there: more than 350 pumps, over a thousand nozzles, more than two thousand projectors, and an acoustic system.
Around the perimeter of the new fountain bowl, brass plaques were placed, commemorating significant events in the history of astronomy, rocket engineering, and space exploration.
“They also replaced the engineering systems in the pumping station, including power supply, water supply, wastewater disposal, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and low-voltage networks. They completed landscaping of the adjacent territory,” added Sergey Sobyanin.
