From January to July 2026, the Moscow transport complex held more than 200 events for passengers. Among them were festive programs for International Women’s Day and Victory Day, Moscow Transport Day, three bike festivals, a spring motorcycle festival, the Moscow Transport Electrofestival, as well as parades of retro transport and trains in honor of the Moscow Metro’s birthday.
The number of participants and spectators of the spring cycling festival exceeded 77 thousand, and the event was included in the Russian Book of Records.
On the media installation “Matryoshka of Moscow” in Zaryadye Park, 25 themed programs and stories were shown, including the original fairy tale “Matryoshka: The Secret of the Tree of Childhood,” created especially for the young audience, and the educational program “Code of Russia” for the whole family.
In seven months, 10 themed trains were launched in the Moscow metro. Passengers could see trains dedicated to the Chinese New Year, the 250th anniversary of the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia, the 111th anniversary of the Gorky Film Studio, the 81st anniversary of the Great Victory, the Vologda region, and Children’s Day. For the 70th anniversary of the “Sovremennik” theatre in Moscow, a themed tram was also launched.
By the end of 2026, it is planned to arrange more than 20 thematic trains and hold 15 major events.
