The Art Pavilion “Piramida” will open in the business center “Moscow-City” on August 21. The new venue will become part of the project “Made in Moscow” and will allow you to get acquainted with the products of capital brands, as well as goods inspired by the mystical TV series “Secret City.”
Colorful art pavilions have attracted Muscovites and tourists for several years now. They offer clothing, accessories, household goods, jewelry, cosmetics, children’s products, souvenirs, and other products from Moscow manufacturers. For entrepreneurs, such venues provide an opportunity to present products to a wide audience, test demand for new items, and increase brand recognition.
The opening of the “Pyramid” will be part of the promotional campaign for the series “Secret City,” inspired by the cycle of works by writer Vadim Panov. The premiere will take place this fall. The plot is based on an alternative Moscow, where ancient civilizations, divided into great houses, are hidden. The “Pyramid” symbolizes one of the sources of power of the secret house, which, according to the plot, is located in the business center.
The series is made in the genre of mystical action by the production company “Mediaslovo” with the participation of the film park “Moskino.” Filming took place in Zaryadye Park, at the Northern River Terminal, in the Moscow-City business center, as well as on specially built sets at the Moskino film factory. The main roles are played by Oleg Savostyuk, Alexey Guskov, Yulia Peresild, Andrey Merzlikin, Leo Kandelaki, Yuri Kolokolnikov, Milos Bikovich, and other actors.
The pavilion is shaped like a pyramid made of mirrored panels of polished stainless steel. Small gaps are left between them, through which golden light shines out, creating the effect of a hidden space. When a visitor approaches, sliding doors located on opposite sides open.
The interior space is decorated in golden shades. This design choice is related to the plot of the series: its characters possess the secret to obtaining the precious metal and, thanks to this, control the financial flows and gold reserves of the world.
“Piramida” will combine an immersive space and a marketplace. The main part of the pavilion will feature products from Moscow brands participating in the “Made in Moscow” project, as well as goods inspired by the TV series.
A separate area of the space will be equipped as a photo zone. Under the pavilion’s vaults, a grand piano will be placed: in the storyline, one of the series’ characters plays it. On interactive screens, visitors will be able to see the world created for the project, and the sound design will create the effect of the instrument playing on its own.
