In honor of the 20th anniversary of the special economic zone (SEZ) “Technopolis Moscow,” one of the largest festivals of this summer will take place on August 22 in the park of the Northern River Terminal — “Technofest”. It can be visited by the whole family, admission is free. Residents and guests of the capital will learn how technologies are developing in Russia thanks to domestic innovative companies, and will also participate in themed workshops and quizzes.

Visitors to the “Technofest” festival can expect a rich program. The park will be divided into nine themed areas, which will be interesting for both adults and children. The center will be the main stage, located in the square in front of the Northern River Terminal building. At 14:00, the festival opening and the ceremonial “Tricolor” parade in honor of the Day of the State Flag of the Russian Federation will take place here. The program will be continued by a bright show featuring performances by several hundred artists and representatives of companies — residents of the SEZ “Technopolis Moscow.” Visitors will also see an unusual water painting show.
In the evening, the main guest of the event — Honored Artist of Russia Valery Syutkin — will take the stage. At 9:00 PM, the festival will conclude with an impressive laser show.
Interactive program of residents
In addition, an interactive program by the residents of the Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone has been prepared for guests. It will take place throughout the day in the park of the Northern River Terminal. Visitors can look forward to demonstrations of advanced technologies, workshops, quizzes, and entertainment for the whole family.
Guests will be able to watch the 3D scanner at work from the company “3D-Integration,” as well as take part in an AI duel organized by “Hightech,” where they will control characters from a cult game using their own body movements. The enterprise “Center for Hydrogen Technologies” will demonstrate an ecological cycle of energy production and consumption using a solar panel as an example and will offer visitors a themed simulation game. The company “Elta” will prepare an interactive booth with educational materials on health, where participants can play games and take photos in a photo booth. Specialists from the organization “Medplant” will conduct quizzes and first aid master classes.
Master classes and career guidance testing
The educational block of the program includes master classes on electronics and career orientation testing by the National Research University “Moscow Institute of Electronic Technology” (NIU MIET), educational games and an open research area with a microscope from the Polytechnic Museum, as well as master classes from Moscow colleges dedicated to professions.
Representatives of the Export, Industry, and Investment Support Center “Mosprom” will talk about electric current and conduct a quiz dedicated to Moscow industry. For the youngest visitors and fans of active recreation, the company “Nex-T” has prepared educational games, quizzes, sensory coloring, and a football simulator. In addition, a photo booth from the company “Fotoexpert” will be operating on the site, where anyone can take a memorable picture.
Educational lectures
At the “Technoom” lecture hall, throughout the day there will be lectures by residents of the Moscow Technopolis Special Economic Zone and invited speakers. The program will open at 11:30 with a presentation by a representative of the company “Hightech.” He will talk about three milestones in the evolution of Russian artificial intelligence. In addition, city residents and visitors will be able to attend lectures on the topics “How robots help humans work in hazardous conditions,” “How engineering approaches change bioprosthetics,” and also “On safety, comfort, and technology in aircraft seats.”
In addition, employees of the National Research University “MIET” will give two lectures dedicated to modern technologies for improving the environment and the challenges facing a big city.
