In the park by the ponds “Raduga”, under the jurisdiction of the capital Department of Culture, on August 22, the third concert of the festival will take place “Park Symphony”, taking place as part of the project “Summer in Moscow”. The musical evening will complete the trilogy ‘Observation. Involvement. Action’ and will be dedicated to Russian musical culture, folklore, and traditions.

Concert will start at 19:00 in the amphitheater. The program includes works of classical music, popular domestic songs, and folk art.

The first section will be presented by the orchestra “Golden Age.” The musicians will perform “Evenings in the Moscow Suburbs” by Vasily Solovyov-Sedoy, “Fly Away on the Wings of the Wind” by Alexander Borodin, “Jester’s Dance” by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, “There Is Only a Moment” by Alexander Zatsepin, and “How Enchanting Are the Evenings in Russia” by Alexander Dobronravov. Folk songs such as “Korobeiniki,” “Oh, You Wide Steppe,” “Barynya,” “Hey, Uhnem,” “Kamarinskaya,” and “Kalinka” will also be played.

The Moscow Cossack Choir will perform in the second act. The ensemble will sing folk Cossack songs and compositions about love, homeland, military valor, and human destiny. The program includes “Oysya, ty oysya,” “Oy, to ne vecher,” “Lyubo, brattsy, lyubo,” “Marusya,” “Lizaveta,” “Kakim ty byl,” “Yesaul molodenky…,” “Pulya,” as well as the song “Kon.”

The third concert will continue the overall concept of the “Park Symphony”: the music will unite professional performers and the audience in an open urban space. Guests will hear works familiar to several generations and will get acquainted with the traditions of Russian folklore.

In the autumn, the festival will conclude with a grand finale. The final concert will be dedicated to the idea of uniting musicians and the audience.
