Beirut, April 9 /Sina/ — The number of casualties resulting from Israeli airstrikes across Lebanon on April 8 has risen to 303 people killed, with another 1150 wounded. This is evidenced by preliminary data published on Thursday by the Lebanese Ministry of Health.
As noted in the statement of the Ministry’s Emergency Operations Center, search and rescue operations continue in a number of areas, authorities are intensifying efforts to recover bodies from the debris and identify the deceased, including with the help of DNA examination.
The total number of victims of Israeli strikes on Lebanon since March 2 has reached 1,888 people, the total number of injured is 6,092, the department added.
On Wednesday, Israel carried out more than 100 airstrikes across the entire territory of Lebanon, which led to numerous casualties and large-scale destruction.
