The automobile plant of PJSC “KAMAZ” conducted an educational ex as part of the annual All-Russian campaign “Week without turnstiles”excursion for schoolchildren.

This year, the annual All-Russian campaign “Week Without Turnstiles” was held from October 12 to 18. KAMAZ is an annual participant in this event. Traditionally, tours are organized for schoolchildren and students at the company’s production facilities. Thus, a group of students from 9 “A” class of Gymnasium No. 2 named after M. Vakhitov visited the Automobile Plant. The schoolchildren were given a safety briefing and issued bright orange vests. During the visit, they went to the cabin assembly shop and the main assembly conveyor, where they saw a finished KAMAZ vehicle coming off the line.

“In my opinion, the most interesting moment for the guys was the professional trials. They tried themselves in the role of an MCR locksmith under the supervision of an experienced mentor – the foreman of the cabin assembly shop, Andrey Atlanov.”, – noted senior specialist of the personnel department of the Automobile Plant Tatiana Karpova.

After the tour of the production facilities, 26 schoolchildren went to the adjacent area where automotive equipment was located. “In front of you is a KAMAZ V3556 vehicle. The letter ‘V’ indicates that it is a high-mobility vehicle. Its features include all-wheel drive, rear axle locking, a load capacity of 35 tons, and 560 hp power. Anyone interested can get into the cabin, sit, and take a look. Enter from the driver’s side, exit from the passenger side.”, – he said to the students chief public relations specialist Vladimir Yusipey.

The students of Gymnasium No. 2 were pleased with the excursion. “I liked the Automobile Plant, it is spacious. I sat behind the wheel of a powerful KAMAZ, it would be very interesting to take a ride on it.”, – shared impressions Aibulat Khabriev.

“I visited the factory for the first time. Many thanks to our guide! I was amazed that the cars are assembled from separate units and components. You can see that every part is the result of great effort by many people.”, – in turn, told Leila Askarova.

As part of the All-Russian campaign “Week Without Turnstiles,” tours also took place in other divisions and factories of KAMAZ.
