Khabarovsk Krai has received a new batch of combined road machines (KDM) on KAMAZ chassis for year-round maintenance of the region’s road network. The delivery was made as part of the renewal of the road and municipal equipment fleet and aims to improve the quality of road maintenance in the harsh climatic conditions of the Far East.
The special machinery fleet of the Khabarovsk Territory has been replenished with efficient machines thanks to the joint efforts of PJSC “KAMAZ”, the partner enterprise “Kurgandormash”, and the official dealer of the automotive giant – the company “Soniktrans”. The delivered vehicles included five KDMs based on the KAMAZ-65115 chassis and two machines on the new generation K5 chassis – KAMAZ-6595. This combination of models allows effectively solving a wide range of tasks: from patrol snow removal and distribution of anti-icing materials to summer road maintenance – sweeping, washing, and watering the road surface.
Governor of Khabarovsk Krai Dmitry Demeshin took part in the ceremonial transfer of equipment. He noted the importance of updating the vehicle fleet to improve road safety and provide timely response to adverse weather conditions. The new equipment will be deployed in key municipalities of the region and will significantly reduce the time required to carry out road maintenance work.
Combined road machines are equipped with modern attachments manufactured by “Kurgandormash,” which ensure high productivity and reliability in operation. The equipment is adapted to the conditions of the Khabarovsk Territory: designed to work at low temperatures, it features increased passability and maneuverability, which is especially important for servicing both major highways and narrow city streets.
