Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin held a working meeting with the Head of the Republic of Adygea, Murat Kumpilov. The parties discussed housing construction, development of road and communal infrastructure, and the implementation of the national project “Infrastructure for Life.”

“In the Republic of Adygea, work continues on developing infrastructure and improving the quality of life of the people. Over the nine months of this year, more than 455 thousand square meters of housing have been introduced in the region, with the volume of apartment building construction increasing by 6% compared to the same period last year. The use of infrastructural budget loans yields significant effects. As a result of project implementation involving this mechanism, from 2022 to the present, it has been possible to attract 22.9 billion rubles of extrabudgetary investments and create more than 1.4 thousand jobs. It is important to continue effectively using the mechanisms in place, approach the development of settlements comprehensively, and increase the pace of work to create comfortable living conditions for people,” said Marat Khusnullin.

Thanks to infrastructure budgetary loans, projects have been implemented in the republic for the construction of engineering and social infrastructure, the development of tourist and recreational areas, and the renewal of public transport. As a result of these activities, about 156 thousand square meters of housing have been commissioned.

In Adygea, the mechanism of comprehensive territorial development is also actively applied. For these purposes, 13 sites with a total area of 294.2 hectares have been designated, and the implementation of 12 projects has begun.

Special attention at the meeting was given to road construction. Today, more than 80% of the republic’s roads are in normative condition. Within the framework of the road activity plan for 2026–2031, financing is planned for the construction and reconstruction of sections of the federal highway A-146, including a 13 km stretch with the construction of a transport interchange. Federal co-financing is also planned for the construction of the Maykop bypass and the Guzeripl–Lagonaki Plateau road.

Over the period 2019–2024, 18,500 square meters of emergency housing were resettled in the republic, with more than 1,200 people receiving new apartments, exceeding the set targets. Within the program for 2025–2026, the planned figures were also overachieved: over 2,100 square meters of emergency housing were resettled, and about 120 people received new housing.

An important direction of joint work remains the modernization of utility infrastructure. Within the regional program, with the participation of the Territorial Development Fund, 6.3 km of heating networks have been reconstructed. Construction and installation work on the reconstruction of water supply networks in Maykop has also been completed using funds from the National Wealth Fund.

“We pay special attention to housing construction and infrastructure development. This contributes to economic growth, attracting investments, creating jobs, and improving people’s living conditions. Thanks to the support of the President and the Government of Russia, new residential districts are being built in Adygea, large-scale road projects are being implemented, and utilities are being modernized. According to several indicators of the national project ‘Infrastructure for Life,’ the republic is among the leaders. I thank Marat Shakirzyanovich Khusnullin for his attention to the region. We will continue to use federal support measures to improve the quality of life of our citizens,” said the Head of the Republic of Adygea, Murat Kumpilov.
