Nanchang, October 18 /Xinhua/ — The China International Ceramic and Porcelain Fair 2026 opened on Sunday in the city of Jingdezhen /Jiangxi Province, East China/, known as the “porcelain capital” of China, where over 1,000 professional buyers from China and other countries gathered.

The five-day event showcases various aspects of the ceramic industry, covering the entire production-to-sales chain, domestic and foreign markets, along with the integration of digital technologies. The total exhibition area amounts to 140,000 sq. m.

Enterprises from 19 countries participated in the event, including Spain, Germany, and Japan. The exhibition features thematic zones such as creative design, intelligent ceramic production, an exposition of international brands, as well as cities specializing in ceramic manufacturing.

At the opening ceremony, the 2026 standards for the regional brand “Made in Jingdezhen” were announced, and the city’s platform for digital culture and tourism was presented.

The exhibition, held for the first time in 2004, not only continues to expand its international presence but has gradually formed a comprehensive platform that combines exhibition and trade, cultural exchange, and investment cooperation. -0-
