During the voting, city residents shared their opinions on the most interesting events of “Summer in Moscow.” The majority of participants preferred gastronomic events. Among them were festivals “Taste of Summer” and “Tastes of Russia”, where you could try dishes from different peoples — from Siberian dumplings to Far Eastern seafood, as well as the project “Moscow Tea Party” and the ‘Ice Moscow Tea’ festival, where they offered to try the ‘Moscow’ tea and signature cold drinks based on tea.

The musical program was not overlooked either: the anniversary, V International Moscow Jazz Festival, concerts at the VDNKh Green Theater, and the Zaryadye Festival. In addition, creative, cultural, and historical events attracted interest: festivals “Moscow Estates”, “Times and Epochs”, “Moscow Time Machine,” as well as “Theatrical Boulevard” with open-air performances.
Charitable events attracted special attention. The festivals “City of the Caring” and “Moscow — a Kind City,” as well as “Houses of Kindness” within the framework of the project “Moscow helps» created an opportunity for everyone to contribute to helping those in need.
Ideas for the upcoming season
More than 11 thousand participants of the “Active Citizen” project took the opportunity to become co-authors of “Summer in Moscow.” Considering the great response to events at district venues, city residents suggested holding such events more often in residential areas and remote districts. In the event program, Muscovites would like to see more concerts, master classes, sports competitions, and activities for children, as well as culinary, historical, environmental, and patriotic events.
The opinions and suggestions of participants will be analyzed and, if possible, used in planning the capital’s event program for the next season. This will help make it more diverse and attractive to all city residents.
