At the beginning of October, the cult band of Mosconcert performed for the first time in the Syrian Arab Republic (SAR). The concerts were organized with the support of the capital Department of Culture in equipped halls for military personnel.

The cultural brigade included artists Elvira Sabanova, Tatyana Sorokina, Sergey Sholokh, Sergey Borzov, handpan musician and specialist in intuitive music Evgeny Nevalenny, as well as musicians and composers Yuri Strelkin and Vlad Balu. The trip was led by Ilya Bachurin, General Director of Mosconcert. The program included wartime songs, contemporary compositions, and poetic works.

“After each concert, military personnel and civilian staff approached us, thanked us, saying that artists often come to them, but the Mosconcert performance was one of the brightest and most memorable. We waited four days to fly out of Moscow due to weather conditions in Syria. During this time, we got to know a large number of great guys, many of whom later attended our performances. During this period, we managed to present several concerts, including for the staff of local canteens, who deliciously and warmly feed several thousand people every day. Both the audience and the commanders in unison said they would be glad to see Mosconcert artists again,” said Ilya Bachurin.

Since 2022, the Mosconcert cultural team has held over 1,500 events for servicemen and residents of new and border regions of Russia in more than 100 cities. The total number of spectators exceeded 210,000 people.

Since the beginning of 2026, events have taken place in hospitals and military units, and artists have also performed for the families of servicemen. In addition, a charity concert and a fundraiser for the victims of the flood in Dagestan were organized. The collection and dispatch of humanitarian aid to military units and hospitals continues.
