The number of customers who can place orders on supplier portal, exceeded 65 thousand. This was reported by Maria Bagreeva, Deputy Mayor of Moscow, head of the Department of Economic Policy and City Development.
“Over 13 years of work supplier portal has become an interregional platform that helps state and municipal customers — schools, hospitals, social protection organizations, cultural institutions, landscaping services — promptly acquire quality products for their needs. The Moscow small-volume electronic procurement mechanism has proven its effectiveness and is successfully scaling across the entire country. Thus, over five years, 10 new regions have joined the portal, and the number of customers using it has grown by a quarter, exceeding 65 thousand at the beginning of October. About half of them represent Moscow, the Moscow Region, Nizhny Novgorod Region, Chelyabinsk Region, and Krasnodar Krai,” noted Maria Bagreeva.
The platform is used by customers from 48 regions of Russia. In 2026, the Kursk and Lipetsk regions, the Donetsk People’s Republic, the Jewish Autonomous Region, and the Kamchatka Territory joined it.
“In 2026, the supplier portal was most actively joined by customer organizations from the Perm and Primorsky Krais, Moscow, Ryazan Region, and the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug. The institutions that connected most often purchased products from manufacturing industries, services in the field of architecture and engineering design, as well as paper and cardboard products,” said the head of the Moscow Department for Competitive Policy.
The platform provides tools for conducting procurements that allow customers to reduce the time spent on necessary procedures. For example, institutions within a single region can combine identical items into joint quotation sessions. This format increases the attractiveness of offers for suppliers and helps save budget funds through increased competition, noted the capital’s Department of Information Technology.

Supplier Portal was created in 2013 to automate small-volume purchases. Today, the platform is used by government customers and more than 410 thousand entrepreneurs from all over Russia. The functional customer of the portal is the capital city’s Department for Competition Policy. The technical development of the resource is overseen by Moscow Department of Information Technology.
