The Saint Vladimir Children’s City Clinical Hospital has turned 150 years old. Sergey Sobyanin mentioned this on his channel on in the messenger “Max”.

Today, at the Saint Vladimir Children’s Hospital, they continue to develop the traditions of domestic pediatrics and implement modern methods diagnosis and treatment.

In 2025, a new one was opened here multidisciplinary complex. The building, with an area of about 58 thousand square meters, was constructed using information modeling technologies, energy-efficient materials, as well as modern solutions for the installation of translucent structures and architectural lighting.

The theme of the four elements was used for the interior design. To ensure the comfort of the little patients, a large entrance area was made, and art objects were placed near the building.

The creation of the complex became one of the largest projects in the healthcare sector within the framework of Moscow’s Targeted Investment Program, as well as an important stage in the modernization of the entire pediatric medicine in the capital. It managed to combine the most advanced capabilities for providing emergency, specialized, and high-tech care to children.

The complex includes:

— 20 departments and 15 operating rooms, including a hybrid angiographic one, and three laboratories;

— a unique center for gravitational blood surgery and hemodialysis, where renal replacement therapy can also be provided to newborns;

— modern medical equipment, including MRI and CT machines, X-ray diagnostic complexes, and an angiograph;

— a helicopter landing pad on the roof for receiving emergency patients.

In addition, a maximally comfortable environment is provided, created according to the principle of a healing environment. This way, children cope with treatment more easily, and parents can stay close at all times.

“In the first year of operation, more than 75 thousand children received medical care at the new complex, 49 thousand of them were admitted on an emergency basis. About 11 thousand came from other regions of Russia,” added Sergey Sobyanin.
